Tip! Prep Your Skin
Spray tans are pretty much the easiest way to look effortlessly glowing, but if you put in just a little prep, you’ll get even more out of it. We suggest shaving any part of your body you normally shave the morning of or the night before your tan. Also, give your body a good exfoliation.
You want as little getting in between your skin and the product. That includes lotions and deodorant. Moisturizers are made to form a barrier to keep moisture in, but that can also act as a little repellant to the spray tan and prevent the color from fully developing. The smoother your skin is beforehand, the more even and glorious your skin will look after.
PRO TIP: Bring dark and baggy clothing and open toe sandals to wear home from your appointment. The tighter your clothes, the more likely you are to streak!
Tip! Get Your Tan 2 days before your Big Event
Our rapid development solution allows you to rinse off in a little as 2 hours for a light tan. Wait 4 hours for a medium tan and 6 hours for a deep natural looking tan.
Rinse off with just warm water to deactivate the solution. Once you have rinsed off you can resume your normal activities without worrying about getting the tanning solution on your clothes or sheets.
Tip! Let Your Color Fade
It’s tempting, but ultimately not a great idea, to tan again before the first one has faded off evenly. If you do tan too often, over old tans, you can end up with an uneven and patchy tan that can take on an unnatural color. Depending on your body’s rate of cell turnover, your tan may last between five and nine days.
