Did you know that the most complete picture of human biology lies in the breath?
Your metabolism isn’t just the calories you burn. It’s all the vital functions your body runs to use oxygen and keep you alive. PNOĒ scans them with clinical precision and finds the ones that pose a risk for your health and performance.
About PNOĒ Metabolic Testing
The PNOĒ test provides the most comprehensive view of your body. By analyzing 12 biomarkers in your breath it measures your heart, lung, and cellular fitness, how "fast" your metabolism is, your fat-burning efficiency, and how your breath affects your posture and brain—all with clinical-grade accuracy. In fact, PNOĒ metabolic testing is considered the gold standard in nutrition and exercise.
The PNOE Metabolic test reveals how your body currently burns carbohydrates and fat. We are able to quickly and easily assess your metabolic fitness through your breathe.
What PNOĒ Tests
Analyze your biological age as well as how long and well you are estimated to live. According to the American Heart Association this test provides the most reliable and accurate measure of longevity and mortality risk.
Metabolism & Cells
Analyze how fast or slow your metabolism is, determine optimal calorie intake for your goal, and measure how effectively your cells burn fats and carbohydrates at rest andduring exercise. This information also reveals the risk for metabolic disorders such as Type II Diabetes.
Fat Burn & Recovery
Analyze how effectively your cells utilize oxygen, burn fat as a fuel source, and clear fatigue metabolites during exercise. This information is also used to determine the optimal macro intake during exercise.
Heart & Lungs
Analyze your cardiovascular and lung fitness with gold standard accuracy and understand how how these vital organs impact your health and wellbeing.Your lung fitness is evaluated through four distinct metrics that paint the most complete picture of how fit your lungs are and how well you utilize them.
Brain & Posture
Analyze how your breath affects cognitive performance, lower back pain and myoskeletal health. Breathing is the most vital function for maintaining high levels brain activity and avoiding injuries such as lower back pain.
Testing Your Metabolic Rate
What it means?
It’s a gauge of how fast or slow your metabolism is. In other words, whether your body is burning more or fewer calories than what’s predicted based on your weight, gender, age, and height.
Why it’s important for your performance?
A high Metabolic Rate (i.e., having both a high Resting Metabolic Rate and low mechanical efficiency) indicates low levels of training fatigue accumulations. Reduction in Resting Metabolic Rate and/or increase in Mechanical Efficiency in low exercise intensities are highly correlated with unsustainable accumulation of exercise strain.
Why it’s important for your wellness?
A high Metabolic Rate will protect you from weight gain as your body will burn more calories allowing you to eat more without gaining weight. It also facilitates weight loss as burning more calories means that even a modest restriction in food intake will result in a meaningful calorie de"cit and weight loss. A high Metabolic Rate is attained through a high Resting Metabolic Rate and a low Mechanical Efficiency in low exercise intensities.
