The Facts About Cellulite & How to get Rid of Cellulite with Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite

Before we can talk about what Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite is, we have to talk about cellulite. If you are a woman, there is a high probability that you either currently have some degree of cellulite that bothers you or, at some point in your life, you will develop cellulite somewhere. Men can certainly develop cellulite too, but it is less common, and biologically women are simply more predisposed to develop cellulite. Dang.

Why are women more prone to cellulite?

It is true! It really is biological. Women’s bodies are prepared for pregnancy. Our skin is thinner and more pliable because it has to stretch quickly to accommodate a pregnancy, and then snap back after delivery. On top of that, this process of stretching and snapping back gets harder with age because skin loses elasticity. In terms of how we store fat, women’s fat is typically distributed in the thighs, hips and buttocks and because women naturally have thinner skin than men do and tend to store fat on their thighs and buttocks, women are more likely to suffer from cellulite.

Can you get rid of cellulite?

So, yes, you can, but not really through exercise and diet. Certainly what you eat matters and not exercising is not a good idea. Exercise and a healthy diet matter, whether you are concerned about cellulite or not. How many times have you seem a tabloid featuring a celebrity in a biking zoomed in on their cellulite? Cellulite does not discriminate and affects women of all shapes and sizes.

For years, the only real way to “get rid of” cellulite was liposuction. But, let us be honest, that is not a reasonable solution for most people. It is expensive and there are a lot of risks associated.

Possible complications specific to liposuction include:

  • Anesthesia risks

  • Bruising

  • Damage to deeper structures such as nerves, blood vessels

  • Deep vein thrombosis, cardiac and pulmonary complications

  • Fat embolism

  • Fluid accumulation

  • Fluid accumulation

  • Infection

  • Infection

  • Internal puncture

  • Irregular contours or asymmetries

  • Kidney and heart problems

  • Lidocaine toxicity

  • Numbness

I mean, the above are legit concerns. Scary considerations to be sure. I myself, prefer more holistic approaches to dealing with cellulite and I have had some great success. Sure, I love Atlas Bodyworks, and yes, I am writing this article for the owner, but it is because the tools at Atlas Bodyworks actually work—and are better suited to what I want for my body (we are getting to Skinade, promise).

How I tackled my cellulite problem

First and foremost, I do Endermologie. After a lot of research and trying different things, I decided I liked the Endermologie approach because I could deal with cellulite on my whole body rather than use the typical piecemeal approach where spas only focus on 1 body area at a time. I bought a 10-pack of Endermologie and saw really great results and try and be consistent about maintenance. I go in and see Robert about once a month to maintain my Endermologie results. As time went on, I saw significant improvement with Endermologie. It is not a complete “cure” but it does work, and it is a natural approach. Endermologie is actually the first cellulite treatment to be approved by the FDA. It uses a non-invasive technique based on physical stimulation (a mechanical massage) to firm up the skin and increase circulation which results in the reduction of cellulite.

Tacking my thighs

Endermologie gave me great results, but my thighs are a big trouble spot. Cellulite loves to accumulate there. It is frustrating! So, I decided this year to hone in on that area of my body. Growing up I played a lot of sports and had pretty muscular legs and I wanted to get some version of that back. I invested in a Venus Legacy + LipoMax package and got to work on my legs. In a nutshell, Venus Legacy works to break down the fat and LipoMax works to tone up the muscle. I saw dramatic results with this effort!

The Skinade Factor

At the start of my thigh project, Robert suggested I add Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite to my plan. I was skeptical (because I am a woman and I know there are a million things on the market) but decided to give it a shot. Okay, so what is this stuff? It is a drink you mix yourself.

What it does: Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite contributes to firmer, smoother, more even looking skin with a reduction in the dimpling associated with the ‘orange peel’ like appearance attributed to cellulite.

Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite comes in three parts; a liquid sachet, a special powder activator sachet and a capsule component.

How to take it: Empty one liquid and one powder sachet into a bottle, add 150ml of cold water; shake to activate and consume immediately with one capsule. You have to dilute and mix the sachets or you will not be able to absorb the ingredients.

The Truth!

Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite DOES NOT taste or smell good! That is the reality. I was honestly pretty surprised by that. Taste and smell are a big deal. After 3 days, I almost gave up because I just could not handle the smell and taste. I was in the shower, planning to quit that day. But, while washing my hair, I noticed how much better it felt. It felt strong and less tangly after shampooing. I was really surprised and definitely started rethinking what the heck I was going to do about the taste and smell.

The Taste & Smell!

I did some research and experimenting. Turns out, if you add Black Cherry MiO drops to your daily drink, that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! What also works: adding 1tsp of Kirkland Signature Psyllium Fiber Powder Orange Flavor (but probably any brand will work, just make sure it has the orange flavor)! I personally actually liked the fiber component more because I can always use more fiber and it made the taste and smell SO MUCH BETTER.

Once you decide on your flavor additive, using the product becomes much easier. For me, I really appreciate the quality of the ingredients. It is a clean product that is not full of a bunch of junk that you cannot pronounce. If I am going to take a supplement, I definitely prefer it to be clean.

Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite: Clean Ingredients

Below is a breakdown of the ingredients!

Collagen peptides

One of the major causes of cellulite is the breakdown and interruption of the dermal matrix leading to uneven and weakened dermal tissue, resulting in bulging of subcutaneous fat. Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite utilises a highly refined type ‘i’ dominant collagen peptide to specifically trigger correct connective collagen formation. This mechanism works on two levels, replacing lost collagen and rebuilding the existing matrix.

Methylsulfonylmethane(msm)

MSM is used in elastin formation and prevents collagen fibres cross linking. It regulates osmotic flow making it a powerful detox agent.

Superoxide dismutase

Highly bioactive format naturally sourced from melons. Clinically proven to reduce visible cellulite by boosting endogenous antioxidant defence mechanisms reducing hypertrophy of fat cells and reducing corruption of connective tissues associated with oxidative stress. We include a therapeutic dose of 80mg visibly lowering fat nodes.

Vitamin b3-niacinamide

Improves microcirculation of the skin. Poor blood flow is a major cause of cellulite formation due to associated stagnation, fluid retention and poor detoxification. This in turn results in low nutrient delivery and a negative cycle that through continuous increase of adipocytes lowers blood flow even further.

Holy basil extract

Powerful natural adaptogen. It maintains blood glucose levels, supports adrenal function, reduces appetite, sugar cravings and stress (negative impact from hormone cortisol) all key issues that lead to and exacerbate cellulite.

Milk thistle extract

Toxin build up is a root cause of cellulite. Milk Thistle is a powerful detox and liver support compound.

Vitamin e-d-alpha tocopherol succinate

Works with vitamin C as a major antioxidant and free radical scavenger.

Bromelain

Prevents and actively lowers fluid retention and improves digestive function.

N-acetyl-l-cysteine

Helps to replenish intracellular glutathione, a vital cellular antioxidant that minimizes lipid peroxidation of cell membranes. Increases activity of the NOS enzyme to boost NO levels in the body increasing blood flow to muscles and increasing metabolic rate.

Vitamin a - retinyl acetate

Encourages normal skin cell renewal, stimulates fibroblasts for increased collagen production and increased elasticity.

Vitamin c-calcium ascorbate

An essential component to new collagen formation and fibroblast response to peptide feedback mechanism.

Horse chestnut extract

Swollen and heavy legs and capillary fragility are widespread symptoms of cellulite. Horse chestnut reactivates circulation, reducing swelling and minimising water retention.

Organic seagreens ascophyllum kelp

Reduces water retention. Counteracts stagnation. Stimulates the metabolism, promotes weight loss via lipolysis (process of fat breakdown)and has firming properties. Rich in unsaturated fats.

Red clover extract

Imbalances in oestrogen lead to increased water retention and reduced collagen and elastin. Red clover balances hormone levels.

N-acetyl-l-carnitine

Plays a critical role in metabolism and energy production. Transports long-chain fatty acids into the cells mitochondria to produce energy. It also transports toxins and prevents their accumulation. Toxin build up is a major contributor to cellulite.

Vitamin b1-thiamine

Reduces the size of fat cells. Essential for liver detoxification.

Zinc gluconate

Important cofactor for the enzyme superoxide dismutase.

Copper bisglycinate

Involved in collagen synthesis (with zinc and vitamin C) and elastin firming, strengthening dermal integrity and increasing skin elasticity. Copper is also a cofactor in the production of superoxide dismutase.

Dandelion root extract

Helps to reduce water retention and detoxifies the liver from excess toxins and hormones.

How Skinade Works

Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite works from the inside out to target specific issues associated with and leading to cellulite; oxidative damage, hormonal changes, fibrosis, stress, water retention and poor detoxification.

It improves circulation, metabolism, skin elasticity and the integrity of the dermal matrix and septae to prevent fat hypertrophy. The enzyme Superoxide Dismutase and a highly refined 'i' dominant collagen peptide are specifically included to prevent collagen fibrosis, strengthen and repair the existing matrix.

Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite is designed to target:

  • Reduced Dermal Integrity

  • Fat Hypertrophy

  • Fluid Retention

  • Toxin Build Up

  • Metabolic Issues

  • Reduction in or loss of skin elasticity

  • Hormonal Impacts

  • Poor Circulation

  • Weak Connective Tissue

Bottom Line

If you are going to add Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite to your regime, it is recommended that you start with a 90-day supply. That is what I did and I definitely saw improvement in my cellulite reduction and the strength of my hair! After 90 days, I decided to keep using it, but I only use it 1-2 times a week now for maintenance, so a 30 day box goes pretty far for me, and I find that to be helpful and cost effective. That is my two cents and I hope this helps you decide whether Skinade Targeted Solutions® Cellulite is right for you!
